McFarland Tarps & Shades is a custom fabrication shop in McFarland, California. Formerly known as McFarland Tent & Awning, the business now focuses on shade mesh, agricultural and truck tarps, heavy-duty vinyl products, dock bumpers and trailer covers.

We serve growers, fleets, warehouses, cold-storage operations and commercial businesses throughout the southern Central Valley. Repair service is also available when an existing product is still worth saving.

Do you fabricate the product only?

Yes. We fabricate tarps, shade panels, vinyl products and dock bumpers at our shop. Customers provide final measurements, samples or drawings and arrange the supporting frame or field work.

What materials do you work with?

We commonly fabricate with shade mesh, heavy-duty vinyl, webbing, rings, grommets and related hardware. The best construction depends on the application, tension, weather exposure and required coverage.

Do you make custom sizes?

Yes. Most of our work is made to order. We build from measurements, samples, drawings or the application you need to cover.

Can I text photos instead of visiting first?

Yes. Photos are often the fastest way to start. Include a short description and basic dimensions, and we will let you know whether we need more details or an in-person look.

Do you still repair tarps?

Yes. Repair service remains available when the existing vinyl, mesh, webbing and surrounding material are still in suitable condition.
